“Jack DeYoung worked with us on a number of design projects, including a magazine for American Express Publishing called Executive Travel. Jack’s design skills and talent helped streamline the process. Client approvals were never easier, the book never looked better, and the more senior designers who supervised this project had lots of their time freed up. Working with Jack it was wins all the way around. If you need an up and coming designer, hire him. I don’t expect he’ll be on the market for long.”
“Jack was always a hugely valuable asset to our team. He is a great designer who crafts eye-catching layouts on both the printed page and in the digital universe. He's one of those rare designers who have the ability to design something and actually make it come to life online.
Any place looking for a solid addition to their team should consider bringing him on board. Your team will be better for it.”
“Jack is an amazing designer with the work ethic to match. He was a crucial part in helping our team take Executive Travel Magazine to new levels in a very short time. Not only did he improve the design, but he helped streamline the process making it more efficient than ever.
Jack has a deep understanding of design and how to use it to communicate a message quickly and with smart, relevant design. He's not only a print designer, but an equally talented digital designer who even has developer skills. Not many designers can offer what Jack does.
His talent is greatly missed on the magazine and other design projects we threw at him while he was here. He always came through on time, on target and with a great attitude.
I feel confident that Jack could benefit your company as much as he did ours.”
“Jack was a great designer to work with at DNA. He was passionate in producing top-notch design work, and he's always willing to help his teammates even if it was outside of his job duties. I've never seen Jack without a smile, and his love for his work has been very inspirational to be around. I know he will be a great asset to any company he works with.”
“Jack is a great designer. He brings fresh ideas to every project he works on. He has honed his visual skills to create engaging identity and brands based on creative briefs. He has the ability to make the transition from print to digital. He is open to feedback and direction. He has a great attitude and a passion for design. He also has great typographic skills.”
“Jack is driven by pure passion for great design. His enthusiasm manifests itself in work that has subtlety and attention to detail. You can't fake that, and you can't help but take inspiration from it.
I had the opportunity to work both above and along side Jack and he earned my respect in both roles. Jack was a great team member and was always willing to help and support our other designers. He possesses a strong aesthetic and conceptual skill set as well as a positive attitude and affable demeanor. I'm going to miss working with him.”
